Xbox controllers take about 3-4 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. The main reason behind this is that the more significant battery Xbox controller has a battery of 2050 mAh. Due to this, it takes time to get charged fully.
All Xbox controllers are used with double-A removable batteries. Due to this, Xbox controllers have the advantage and can be used for long hours.

- Use controller at a distance – Wireless controllers use Bluetooth to connect with the consoles. Still, as the distance increases, the controllers try to connect with the control several times, draining the battery fast. The ideal distance to play video games with wireless controllers is 20-30 feet.
- Using it in hot temperatures – Using any device in hot conditions will degrade the battery life. Sometimes, gaming in a hot environment, especially in summer, can discharge the battery. During that time, try to disable the controllers’ vibrations and other lights when binge gaming.
- Charging and discharging it fully – Gaming controller batteries can have a lifecycle of 400-500 charge cycles if you have read my posts about charging batteries and how you can keep them healthy. Then you should know that you don’t charge your batteries full daily.
