Why Is 30w Charger Best For Smartphones?

Nowadays, most smartphones are launched with 100-watt to 240-watt chargers, but do you know that charging your phone using these fast chargers regularly may damage your battery?

I know people want to charge their phones as soon as possible today, but as I mentioned in my previous article, you might change your decisions. I have used some fast chargers in the past, and using them, I got terrific results as my phone got charged fully in under 30 minutes. However, there was a heating problem that I was facing.

Here is why I am in favor of using a 30-Watt charger and why I think it is ideal to use.

There are a few reasons. The first reason is that charging the smartphone fully takes 40-45 minutes. The second reason is that the device does not heat up too much. And if you could wait for 15-20 minutes extra to charge your device 30-watt charger is best for use.

Most mid-range smartphones come with a box with 30-watt or 50-watt chargers, which is quite good, but I am not in favor of quick or fast chargers for a few reasons:

  • The fast charger charges the device quickly, which decreases the charge cycle.
  • If the brand has not optimized the charging technology, it heats the phone and device.
  • It drains the battery fast compared to other phones.

Am I against fast charging technology?

No, not fast charging technology will surely replace today’s chargers, but as brands want to compete with each, they bring out fast chargers without getting the feedback of real-time users.

As per my research, most users with fast chargers claimed that they were facing heating issues as well as comparably quick battery drain issues in their smartphones.

To solve this problem, the brand should do real-time testing, get feedback, and optimize the device to use the fast charging technology most efficiently.

Before you buy any smartphone, make sure to research it deeply so that you can know its pros and cons. And talking about today, no smartphone is 100% perfect. Some of them have camera issues, and some of them have chipset problems. However, it’s up to you you can to decide what device is right for you.
